What is Torghast?

Torghast, Tower of the Damned is one of the key features of Shadowlands. It is very similar to horrific visions from BFA 8.3 (Visions of N'zoth).

Access to Torghast is unlimited, you can enter as many times a week as you like, without penalty. There are no time limits inside, but there are stacking debuffs, based on time spent inside.

You can enter Torghast either solo or in a group of 2 to 5 people.

Torghast is the only source of Soul Ash - a reagent needed for crafting legendary items (see the Legendaries tab).

Therefore visiting Torgast for the sake of a weekly "cap" of Soul Ash is compulsory and takes about 1 hour a week (2 runs, 30 minutes each, 8 difficulty level)

All Torghast layers are not available right away and unlock on weekly basis. Below is the unlock schedule announced by developers:

• Week 1: Layer 3 max
• Week 2: Layer 3 max
• Week 3: Layer 6 max
• Week 4 and after: Layer 8 max
