Shadowlands Leatherworking Leveling Guide 1 - 100

This Shadowlands Leatherworking leveling guide will show you the fastest and cheapest way how to level your Shadowlands Leatherworking skill up from 1 to 100.

Leatherworking is the best combined with skinning, and I highly recommend to level these professions together because it will be a lot easier to get the needed materials if you have skinning. 

Shadowlands Leatherworking Trainer Location

You can learn Shadowlands Leatherworking from Tanner Au'qil in Oribos in the Hall of Shapes. (Coordinates: 42.6, 26.8)

Oribos is the new Shadowlands city hub for both factions. You will arrive there after you finish the Shadowlands intro quests, so you can learn the new profession recipes before you head out questing.

Leveling Shadowlands Leatherworking

Check out my Desolate Leather Farming Guide if you want to farm the leathers! All skinnable mobs can drop the 5 new skinning materials, so you can farm the same mobs for every leather.

Approximate Materials Required for 1-100

• 655 x Desolate Leather
• 28 x Pallid Bone
• 45 x Callous Hide
• 45 x Curing Salt
• 72 x Penumbra Thread

Curing Salt and Penumbra Thread are sold by Distributor Au'tem. (he is standing a few yards to the east from your trainer) They are not listed in the guide at most recipes since you can just buy a bunch of them from the vendor.

5 x Desolate Leather Treads - 45 Desolate Leather
11 - 21
5 x Desolate Leather Gauntlets - 45 Desolate Leather
21 - 36
5 x Desolate Leather Helm - 50 Desolate Leather
36 - 51
5 x Desolate Leather Pauldrons - 50 Desolate Leather

51 - 60

15 x Crafter's Mark I - 75 Desolate Leather

This recipe will be yellow for the last 5 points, so you might have to make more or fewer.

60 - 70

5 x Shadebound Waistguard - 150 Desolate Leather, 5 Callous Hide

70 - 85

24 x Heavy Desolate Leather - 240 Desolate Leather

This will be green for the last few points, but you will use these anyway so it's better to make them now.

85 - 88

4 x Heavy Callous Hide - 40 Callous Hide

You will use all of these in the next steps, so basically free skill points.

Darkmoon Faire free +5 skill points

Check your Calendar in-game to see if the Darkmoon Faire is open. You can find the in-game calendar in the top right corner of your minimap. The Darkmoon Faire event starts at 00:01 on the first Sunday of each in-game calendar month.

88 - 91

1 x Shadowscale Vest - 1 Heavy Callous Hide, 7 Pallid Bone, 6 Heavy Desolate Leather

91 - 100

3 x Shadowscale Leggings - 3 Heavy Callous Hide, 21 Pallid Bone, 18 Heavy Desolate Leather

The tooltip is bugged, so the recipe is actually called Shadowscale Greaves at your trainer, but once you learn the recipe it will show up as Shadowscale Leggins in your crafting window.
